"Watch your thoughts for they become words. Watch your words for they become actions. Watch your actions for they become habits. Watch you habits for they become character. And watch you character for it will become your destiny!" Margaret Thatcher   They used this quote in a sermon I attended this last weekend at church. While it spoke to me personally from a spiritual context, I also thought about how the concept applies very much inside the walls at powerhouse. Margaret Thatcher's comments are really based on directing us to understand that the everyday small things we put in place become the norm we repeat over time. As time goes by they become our story or "destiny". As we fulfill this destiny, we determine our legacy. As a company, we all want the legacy of powerhouse to be one that fulfills our vision statement of "having a positive impact on people" to the fullest potential. To do that we have to be mindful of the small everyday choices we make that turn into habits, character, destiny and finally legacy. How do we treat those we work with? Do we show humility? Do we consistently communicate how much we value them? How do we treat our GC's? Do they feel we value them? How about our customers? Are the daily choices we make no matter how small, building toward defining a legacy that we will be proud to leave behind? Creating an amazing legacy is very achievable.....if you focus on the choices you will be faced with today.   Michael Wroughton
